I am putting together goals for next season as well as some bullet points for sponsor applications.. Looking to list the fastest mph Corvettes.

Not quickest, but fastest overall (250+). So far I have found:

278 Red C4 at Bonneville.
273.1 White C4 at Bonneville.
265 Red C5 STS at Bonneville.
254.7 Callaway Sledgehammer.
252.0 PPR C5, standing mile.

Anyone I am missing?

What's amazing is that the Callaway set the record 27 years ago for a true street car.

Follow up question.. Has there been a C6 over 246 mph? I cant find one, but google keeps returning video game stats!

Kelly Bise ran in the 240's at the Texas Mile last year.

Youtube shows him at 240.9... Those guys do run in the grass a lot!

I keep looking, but I am about ready to claim the fastest C6!

Goal for 2017 is going to be 265, hope to compete for fastest Vette on tarmac (will take some doing to catch up with the salt guys)

Not that I have seen of the run itself.. I have talked with the owner and I believe the numbers. This was done at the Kennedy Space Center which doesn't compare 1:1 with all the other tracks as this is the worlds best surface, but we may get my car down there to see (as usual it will come down to time and money!)
