Sure and the factory ls7 is an amazing motor, still better modified

Bullseye makes some killer modifications to the BW turbos. FI is good too.

BW make a lot more than one single unit though. GM only make 1 LS7.

True, and some vendors can take those turbos to another level!

And some dont ! lol

It'd be hard to go wrong with anything BW make, and usually they're very keenly priced too.

I'd always be cautious of people building turbos from parts, trying to replicate what BW already make at the factory and often charging even more for doing so.

just so many options with turbos these days, and more vendors etc is always a good thing to give customers that choice.

I would trust BW engineering and design over a small speciality shop any day. They do not have the tools or resources to compete on that level.

Bullseye is anything but small. I had BW turbos on my twin turbo but would take a Bullseye billet batmowheel BW any day over my standard BW. To each their own

The very reasons I went with genuine BW units.

Bullseye ask about double the price for almost the same thing, built from parts and with the lower spec bearing setups than the FMW BW units

Although when I was searching, one Bullseye vender did offer me a pair of Batmowheel units at substantially reduced cost, almost the same as factory BW units.

Which then begs the question if they can still sell them at a normal price, why heavily inflate the price in the first place ?
Will their Batmowheel really shine vs a BW FMW wheel ? I really doubt it.

I'm sure Bullseye do make great product but those things just pushed me more towards factory units
Their new Street Billet series do look nice, largely though for the cleaner looking covers. Again will they actually perform better than say an SXE ? I just doubt it.

Are they maybe the same unit just with a different compressor cover ? Who knows.

I seem to remeber a test that was done with a s480 and a bullseye 80mm and the stock BW did better.

So some updates:

1) Drive train. Got a custom built RPM Level 7 trans with billet, straight cut gears and face plating. Gear ratios are:

2.71/1.79/1.30/1.00/.86/.75

2) Still waiting on a lot parts, Forced inductions failed to provide a turbo and the images they were sending were not even my unit. Being that that could not give an estimate on completion date I sprung for Garrett turbos

Fuel system upgrades to handle the mechanical pump have been ordered. Goal is in the next week to begin running all the lines and the cable to drive the mechanical pump

Dry sump oiling and PCV system still in the design phases

A custom motor mount is being made to allow the fuel pump drive to pass through

All my shifting wore out the first gen MGW shifter so a new one has gone into place

3) Garrett GTX4508R, his twin is sitting in texas hopefully not under 5ft of water

I can see them all except the last post, so I dunno, maybe it's me. I tried 2 computers, a phone, wifi and cellular and never could get them to come up. I figured they were going to be badass though so I wanted to see them

edit: works for me in Chrome but not Safari for whatever reason, weird
