Default Help please looking for advice

So looking for advice on what would be the best option for the $/hp/daily/end goal.

I daily a motorcycle most of the time but I do enjoy using the vette as a daily.

I sold my base and picked up a z06 well a month later and the block decided to commit suicide and crack and the engine died. I haven't pulled the heads yet to see if those are good yet but the block is cracked but no holes.

I wanted to put a ecs on he car and run low 10s high 9s and daily it.

Question is should I look for another ls7 block swap a stock one in?
-Stock ls7 block swap it?
-stock ls3 block swap it in?
-buy a piston/rod ls7 I've seen advertised on eBay?
-buy a piston/rod ls3 I've seen in eBay?
-other suggestions?
-any shop or vendors that sell a built or stock block for 2-5k?

I know I'll get some **** for puttin a ls3 in a z06 but same time with boosting it in the near future it's a cheaper route then going with the 427.
Then with boost I'll be running the same times and same hp for the most part

Thanks

if was me I'd just pick up a budget forged shortblock from texas speed or something. if you're super cash strapped lots of guys making enough power on stock ls3 to go into the low 10s and probably 9s on the right day with the right setup.

I'll be looking into Texas speed. Not super cash strap but I don't wanna drop 10k for an engine rather spend at most 6k if buying a longblock

$6k is a HUGE stretch for a long block.
Thompson iron block "stage 1" gen IV setup would be $6400 and even then I would want other upgrades that would push it $7k+ easy. The TSP or Thompson stage 2 motors are going to be $8500+. Still need to add a intake/etc.

agreed. if 750whp is sufficient for you I'd just get a junkyard ls3 or lq9 or something for $1k and run that.
