LS 2 resto mod
I am putting together a resto with an ls2 tremec 5 speed and all the goodies. Everything going along
at a slow rate when time to to turn it over the engine spun about three or four revolutions and quit.
now my delima pulled plugs no evidence of anything
hand spun the motor both ways clockwise and counter clockwise binds up both directions in about half a tevolution. Pulled trans back about 2 inches to
look into bell house evetything looks ok took off
starter still binds when spun by hand. Is it possible the timing chain jumped or the oil pump which is in the front of the engine is binding it up? I'm not looking for any extra work an yes the engine ran at the buildets and. was dynoed
Any thoughts greatly appreciated.
