Can I run E85?
So I went to the Wannagofast event here in NC a few weeks ago - and saw a ton of ZR1's running E85 and other power adders.
I have a 2005 C6 - LS2 block - LS9 cam - CNC ported LS3 heads - and an E-Force TVS2300.
I also have Kooks long tube headers - and I am running the Edelbrock 3.25" pulley.
On the fuel side - I have 1000cc/95lb hr Fuel Injectors - and the z06 fuel pump that came with the 599 kit.
I am currently making around 8.5 lbs of boost - and making 580 RWHP with a tune from PCM of NC.
With all that being said - do I have big enough injectors / can the z06 fuel pump run e85?
I've been considering getting a flex fuel kit - as they aren't super expensive and getting the 3.0" pulley as well.
I really want 600 wheel - and I think I'd be able to hit that with the smaller pulley and e85.
What are your thoughts?
Pic for attention.

i would say, what took you so long?
E85 will be awesome with your setup, however you may need more pump for safety.
Easiest thing to add would be the ECS stage 1 fuel setup or something similar.

The Z06 pump won't support much more than you are making, on E85. Go with a Walbro 450.

I'd do DSX kit and something like ECS stage 1 fuel system and smaller pulley. Should get you what you're after.

Even then that would be borderline IMO.
Much rather see a more robust fuel system. A single 450 is going to be at the limit to make 700rwhp on e85.

Thanks everyone for the suggestions!
I have the flex fuel sensor kit fromt DSX - and I just ordered the 3" pulley.
I've been looking at the ECS Stage 1 E85 Fuel pump kit - has anyone installed that?
How is the fuel pump noise?
That is my only real concern since its external and not in the tank.

Second pump only runs when you're over a few psi of boost so shouldn't really matter. I'd be surprised if you could hear it over the exhaust

Thanks Schpenxel!
That was my real only concern.
With the Kooks + Corsa - I doubt I'll hear it either.
Plus not having to drop the tank - thats winning in my book!
