If you do a PC, take into account you will want the upgraded inlet or a DP inlet.

Alright thanks.

(Copying my last post here so it's on the new page)

"First off; Fuel. I'm thinking that I want to go with the ECS Stage 1 E85 Fuel system. So if I order that, (It says it does not include injectors), what will I need to order along with it? Just a set of ID1300s or something?

Second off; Cam. I've been recommended a cam with the following specs: 231/239 .617/.624 115+4. What do you guys think?

Also settled on a Monster LT-1S Triple clutch. Still not settled on a blower. Although I think if a good shop was doing the install, I'd go with the ProCharger. But for doing it myself, I think the ECS would be a lot easier.

Thanks"

Mantic over monster.

ID1300s would be fine.

Cam sounds ok, and would work fine, but hard to say, as cams are subjective and what do you want out of it? To make 800rwhp, that will be more than enough. Can go smaller if you want to maintain better drivability/mileage/idle/etc.

Mantic

ID1300s

Cam is okay. Mine is a little smaller and gets the job done. Lot of places can spec you a cam but I'd still hit up Futral.

And without knowing lobes, that could be a good cam or complete crap.

Yeah, get some ID1300's

And that's probably a little more cam than you need but it would do the job IMO.

I'd get BTR and Pat G to spec something, get both of their recommendations and then pick one

Alright thanks guys. Cam was specced by Vengeance but I'll talk to some more people (Futral, Pat etc.) before ordering anything.

What intake for the D1SC should I look for? Model/part #? Reason I ask is I don't see any place to select what kind of intake you want so I'm guessing it's aftermarket?

As far as the clutch, Mantic seems on and off, you guys here are saying you like them obviously. But a lot of other threads do nothing but bash them. I'm not sure what to believe lol. RPS also makes a good clutch I know but they're hella expensive and overkill probably.

Looking to make closer to the 750 RWHP number for utmost longevity of the engine. I'm deciding whether or not to just do a forged rods and pistons with the stock crank. In which case I won't be afraid to make 800+ wheel.

The factory plastic inlet is a huge restriction. They sell an upgraded one, or DP or other companies do too.

Haven't seen any bad mantic press besides a few installed wrong. They are amazing clutches.

For 750+ you probably want to look at a belt upgrade too. Either direct drive, or 8 rib.

Yeah I'll be doing an 8 rib setup.

ECS kit comes ready for 8 rib with no changes, and ECS inlet is good for 1000+. The Ti trim has made 850+ with ease time and time again. Comes with Tial BOV, and is far less money than the other choices. You can get killer deals on them. When you take out the BAP and injectors, they are very very very good deals.

Yep, leaning towards:

ECS LS3 Kit:
1500 SL
TiAL Q
Oil Feed and Drain line kit
Upgrade to 8-rib belt drive w/10% OD Dry Sump Balancer
Head unit pulley? Not sure, do you have to select an 8 Rib option? Or the "6 Rib 325 LS3 Cars"
HPE C6 Direct Drive System
No fuel pump
No injectors
10% Harmonic balancer

ECS Stage 1 E85 Fuel System
DMS Flex fuel kit
ID1300s
Alky Controls dual nozzle Meth Injection

VRSC-2 Cam 231/239 .617/.624 115+4 for now but plan on calling Pat, talking to Futral, and BTR (And others if need be).

Mantic 9000 Triple

ARH 2" Headers

How are we coming so far? Missing anything? Need to add anything?

P.S. Can't say thank you enough to you guys that have been an incredible source of information.

Looks like an awesome parts list.

Tires, suspension, rims, etc is where you should spend extra money. Or wideband/gauges.

Single nozzle is more than enough meth.

Can you help me out with the head unit pulley? Options in 8 rib are 300, 333, and 348. Which one?

For 750ish 333 will get there easy enough. Or just ask ECS. Call them, Doug gives good pricing. He can hook you up with just about everything on that list but the injectors/dsx stuff that you get from Dave.

I'm guessing it's 3.00", 3.33", 3.58"? Smaller the more supercharger RPM = more boost. Don't want to go north of 800 wheel on stock bottom end. Lets say I drop the 333 on it for now and then build the bottom end in 2 years and put the 300 on it with heads and make 850-900 RWHP. Logical?

Yep, but 3.00 maybe too small for that blower with a 10% OD. Doug can fill you in on that.
