Default Decided to take the plunge.....wondering...

what the difference will be like. Got the ball rolling on an A&A v2 si-Trim w/3.8" pulley. LS2 car with existing Kooks long tubes and Corsa sport. Currently makes 383whp, just wondering if somebody could give me an idea of how different the car will feel when the install is complete?

"Feel" is a pretty subjective term. It will be noticeably faster and depending on what tires you run, will probably want to break traction in places you haven't experienced before.

Basically, when you stomp on the go pedal, if you're stopped or going slow in first gear, it'll feel like you're driving on a wet road, and if you're rolling, it'll feel like a freight train rear ended you. That's about the best I can do for "feel"...

when you are driving normally, it will drive 100% like it does now. When you mash the pedal, it will act like a totally different car. you will be traction limited in 1st and 2nd gear. Possibly 3rd gear depending no how "hot" your tune is. So plan on investing in some sticky tires if you plan on taking advantage of your new power.

That's what I'm really wondering about, what the difference will be like when I jump on it when I'm already rolling. Your freight train analogy makes me think that it's going to take some getting used to, but it also sounds like a good bit of fun, too.

I think for the rest of this year I'll stay with my current tires and spend some time getting accustomed to the newfound hp. The research I did before I jumped in suggests that I may need to invest in a more robust rear before I go to the stickier tires. I guess what I meant with my original post was that, will the difference in the car be like night and day, or something a bit more subtle than that?

...your smile will correlate directly with the % the skinny pedal is pressed...

Depending on mods, likely night and day...

Night and day, it's almost a +50% power gain with the one mod. This isn't like a simple bolt on mod that picks up 20 hp but then you're used to it in a week. It'll take awhile to get bored with this, especially if your tires suck.

The best thing, as others have mentioned above, is when you don't want to go fast and just drive it like normal, it'll drive just like stock.

I went from 453rwhp when cam, exhaust, etc... to 722rwhp so far with A&A v3-t kit and a huge list of other changes, ha...

Whatever you initially feel, it will feel slow rather quickly.

I went from 403RWHP to 600RWHP when I did my Procharger. It is definitely a blast to drive but it is already feeling normal and think I need to do more.

It will be a completely different car. Get drag radials ASAP.

Maybe after I upgrade the rear and get used to it a bit. Any recommendation on something that works well on the street?

Mildly surprised, not quite as pricey as I thought they'd be.

Picked up the car yesterday. Holy crap!

Last dyno pull was 579 whp. Was 385 after last tune for the headers and cai. I definitely noticed the difference. Pretty sure I like it.

Enjoy it and be careful, especially until you get some stickier tires.

Glad to hear, I am looking to add the same supercharger in the winter of 2019 once my wife gets over my latest purchase, lol.
