First track session
it's a 2008 A6 LS3, it was about 90 degrees out which is warm but not that bad. it was only a 2 hour session and as the car was cooling off and my disappointment grew I thought of the aftermarket Top Flight license plate cover I have that sits right in front of the intercooler. I removed it and headed back out to the track, the only thing was is that I only had about 10-15 mins left in the session. By the time i got out, warmed up the tires I'd gotten 2 laps in and the checkered flag came out so i didn't really get a chance to push it.
It was running about 15 degrees celsius cooler than before....could it be that simple that the license plate cover was causing the issue?
Thanks for your input.
