Default Wondering if this would be a good race

Boosted c6 vs boosted c6

Friends car is a bolt on ZR1 with a 2.6 pulley, long tubes, tune ect. I "think" he put down 608rwhp.

My car is a 6 speed 09 base with the A&A t-trim blower and long tubes.

Both tuned on 93 pump only.

Do I have a chance in the 1/4?

Probably be a drivers race as they are pretty equally powered.....but zr1 should still be a bit lighter and have more aggressive gearing....so?

Your probly not too far off on the hp he is making, but I feel the ZR1s torque is going to be pretty aggressive compared to yours. From a roll I'd expect him to jump out on you a bit. Your best bet would be to run from a dig where he would have a harder time hooking up with the extra torque.

1/4 mile run I give the edge to the zr1
What size pulley are you running? If you have room to pulley down, you should get the edge in power.

If it were me, I'd pulley down and run a meth kit, to keep temps and detonation under control. It's not very expensive at all and you will get a pretty big jump in power.

My car is 3273 lbs it also has the Z51 gearing
Zr1 is 3,324.

Not really sure what to expect. Im sure the Zr1 makes more power under the curve.
