I know many people have talked about this but couldn't find exactly what I was looking for so figured I'd just ask.
Who is running the ls7 rods and crank with a nice set of pistons with boost? How do they hold up around 800-850
the block I'm not worried about since I picked one up that has been sleeved with darton sleeves. Since I already have the stock crank and rods I would like to use them but only if they'll be reliable.
I know of a couple of sets that had the rod bolts upgraded and rebushed the small ends that have held up to 1K for a while now. Katech rod bolts and forged pistons and paid to have the crank balanced.GL!
I'm running forged CP pistons (10:1) with stock crank/rods. I've had this set up for over a year with no issues. Currently making 837whp with a Ti trim.
