So many of these builds end like this, it's very disappointing.

Lol, just demons floating around in my head. I've never planned to sell the car but I have thought about it from time to time. I'll likely never sell it unless I absolutely have to.

Thanks guys, it wasn't an easy decision. But when I can only drive it 4-5 months a year and no tracks that close anymore I couldn't turn down the money. Even after everything done to the car I still came out ahead, which in my mind was the deciding factor on letting it go.

Disappointed to not get to see the end results. I guess I can understand letting it go given you came out ahead, but man you were so close!

What's next on the horizon?

😱 Quite the change from a twin turbo Vette! I would love a mildly built Wrangler Unlimited but need a truck. I could give up the GS vert and get one but the desire isn't strong enough for that.

Post up pics along the way. Would love to follow along.

Long time no talk! Logged in to ask the C5 boys for some parts, figured I would give you guys an update on the new project! LJ build is about half done, had to keep the vette tradition alive. Started the LS1 build for it, engine came from a 99 C5. Made 430 at the wheels with fast intake, afr heads and big cam. Turning it back to stock for now to get the jeep up and running, if anyone has some stock ls1 parts I could use a few.
