I just wanted to let you guys know. I am working with z-industries in helping them get a line of pulleys for us. Now I have the test pulley and they should be good to go for other orders I do know that everything is aligned and works with the ecs kit on a ls3. Any other kits or engine combos I am not certain. I have been fighting the 6 rib just like everyone else before I upgraded and went the direct drive route I want to give them a shot sense I come from a supercharged viper and they made pulleys for us. Now I can say the 6 rib is very problematic but with this pulley combined with the ecs heavy duty tensioner I am seeing 14.6 psi on the east coast in North Carolina for anyone that wants to do elevation calculations. from a 3.15 pulley in a 6 rib belt. For comparison reasons same pulley 3.15 that was carbonite Coated only gave me 12.8. The boost numbers to me are substantial when you take in that the cost of both pulleys are almost the same but one is providing more grip.
I also forgot to mention that they come with a hub. So there is no need to move the supercharger forward anymore to put pulley pullers on to take the pulley off. Just unscrew the allens and the pulley comes off easy. The process that they told me they use is pretty cool also. they actually grind the ribs for the the belt and re weld new ridges that are stronger and the slits on the ribs are actually welds. They told me that they won’t get clogged and they are self cleaning so if anybody has had a carbonite pulley then they know you have to clean the periodically. This pulley is supposed to be maintenance free.
i will have a video up shortly on my YouTube channel with a review of the pulley.
Interesting, I know A&A cuts ridges in their pulley below a 3.125, and if I was gonna have belt slip I was gonna try and get a lite coating by carbon coatings, it helped a buddy with slip on his maggi.

Pulley comes off in <2 minutes on my ecs kit. No need to move supercharger forward, or touch anything. Just undo the one bolt, slide it off, slide new one on.
Ran all summer on a ECS 1500SL using a 3.2 and 10% OD HB. Only 10 passes on it though around 7000. Mid range was pretty nice. It's much tamer now
Yea, I know I just voided my warranty
lol..How are you finding the CHE trunnion upgrade? I added
them when my cam was installed. Nice and quiet still after
500 miles. just about to drop my oil and look at the sump
magnet and oil colour. yeah i know brass is not magnetic I see Kurt Urban has the new style CHE trunnions on his site, but never in stock?

I could swear my valve tap got worse and worse every time I revd it over 6800 but those CHE trunions got rid of all the noise. Car is super quiet now and I'm real happy about that. Very surprised that the CHE bushings are only slid in by hand and don't have to be pressed in. Running Mobil1 5-30 and put ZDP additive in for the break in but might continue to use it.
Got mine at Texas Speed but still had to wait 6 weeks for them, but well worth the wait. Also did ARP studs on the rockers which I'm real happy about....less wear and tear on the Aluminum threads and super high quality stuff..
PSS: Sorry for the thread hijack
PS: I wouldn't worry about a metallic sheen in the oil when you change it. I saw that after I did my cam but it was only for the 1st oild change. Pretty sure it came from the new bronze cam thrust plate I put it. Changed the oil 3 times since then and it's gone. Expecting a similar sheen from the CHE break-in
I'm actually running one of these on my d1sc procharged vette. used to have a slash cut pulley but this seems to work better. I used to have an annoying issue where if I was in 4th gear and WOT it to redline then would have zero slip and make full boost to redline. But if I start in 1st and then 2nd, 3rd and then 4th, done that way I would get a tiny bit of slip in 4th. I think probably from the belt stretching and tensioner not holding it together as well. It wasn't a big deal but this fixed that. Also way easier on the belts than the slash cut pulley was.
my supercharger pulley also comes off in about 2 minutes with one bolt.
I don't have a ton of miles on mine since barely driving my car lately but like it so far.
great customer service too and they stock or can get any gates RPM belts which I recommend also.
I ahve a c5 with a P1SC procharger that is slipping. I have upgraded to the A&A bracket and still when i hit 8 psi it will stay strong for about 1-2 seconds then drop to 3 psi if im lucky. I want to buy one of these Griptec pulleys and possible go with the 3.5 or 3.7 as i think i have a 4 ish pulley. I need to check the exact size, but i have some room to upgrade the pulley to gain some psi. Any thoughts on what pulley will help with slipping. I have had this problem for a while now and it seems to get better when i changed the belt until it gets worn down.
