Edelbrock e-Force expectations?
This is incorrect.
The DRIVE comes from the crankshaft and the harmonic balancer diameter. The DRIVEN is every other device. Since the RPMs originate from the crankshaft, it's (HB) diameter, as a proportion to every other driven device on the belt, determines each driven RPM.
If your theory was correct, then if you spin the SC faster, you must also be spinning the crankshaft faster too as its pulley is also on the belt.
The alternator RPM does NOT change in its relationship to the RPM coming from the crankshaft. Only the SC spins faster, BC only it's pulley diameter was changed in relationship to the crankshaft.
