here are some details of the build,
lsx block
4.125 callies compstar crank
callies rods
wiseco 4.185 -9cc pistons
ported and fixed 59.5cc ls7 heads
245 256 655 657 111+2 cam
kooks 2" headers
catless x pipe
halltech mf103
borla atak
mamo ported msd intake with nitrous outlet direct port setup
stand alone fuel system
walbro 450 in tank
compression will be 12.8to1
e85
c16 in stand alone
so i got it all in no just getting it finished up and ive spoken to alot of tuners and engine builders that say i should be safe to spray a 300 shot, i was planning spraying 200 for now to keep it safe. what do you guys think
thanks

If the engine builder says it's good for 300hp worth of nitrous, I'd take his word for it. You will just have to make sure the tune up is correct. Correct air/fuel ratio. Correct amount of timing pulled. And, the correct spark plug in it. If you have questions regarding how to set this up, feel free to give us a shout!

yea i left the mounts on and installed the bellhousing before i installed the motor, it went in really easy, i lowered my front subframe as low as it could go still being bolted up and just got under the torque tube and picked it up and slid it in took about 5 minutes alone, all i did to make sure it would go in was when i set the shaft from the torque tube into to clutch i measured the gap top bottom and each side and made sure they were pretty close and just pushed!
Damn man! You ain't playing around! That's going to be a monster. Are you going to TX2K?
Really thinking hard about trying to sell my long block and pick up one of those HPR forged 468 short blocks.
yea man i had no choice my ls7 was shot lol so i figured may aswell do it big lol, im hoping to make it not sure if il be off work or not yet i should be firing up the car hopefully in the next couple days just some little things to finish up on it and hopefully make it to the dyno asap!
yea you should do it hpr was by far the most knowledgeable and helpful builder i wanted to go with them to build my short block so bad i just got really lucky locally on a lsx block i couldnt say no to or else they would have forsure built it for me!

Awesome man. Heard the start-up vid on FB. Sounds healthy! Glad it's back up and running.

wasnt to bad but i had the tranny and rear end off the car so had no issue with reaching the crossover tube only issue i had was my tank was completely full and car was tore apart so had no way to drain it so it was a little heavy
How did you go about pre-oiling the engine? I've seen lots of different opinions on what's best and what works. Pre-filling the oil pump seems like a good idea at a minimum, but I'm not sure that pressurizing the system is necessary if everything was recently coated with assembly lube and/or oil.

i bought a m16x1.5 to barb fitting, pulled the plug on the engine near the timing cover just above the where the oil galley plug goes and used a 5$ harbour freight hand pump and pumped 6 quarts into the block with the valve covers off and slowly rotated the engine by hand until i had oil coming through my pushrods, and when i went to fire it up i just pulled the fuel pump relay and cranked the car with no plugs to make sure and i had instant oil pressure

would you suggest pouring 6qts through the passenger and driver side head? Let it all slope down and pull the fuel relay and crank?

i personally wouldnt, after talking with a lot of engine builders this is the correct way to do it, you get all the air out of the galleys and prime the pump, im no expert bit im sure if you just poured it down the heads and there was enough assembly lube ypu would be ok, but run the risk of spinning the motor dry,
