Despite the misfire....has rpm ability, power in the upper rpm's changed ? More feel rather than graphs if it hasnt been dynoed before to compare.
ie, does it feel like...or is it more willing to rev vs the previous intake ?

Feels good. If I could wager I would say 20-30 in mid range to gain 20-30 up top. Old graphs did fall off quickly. Would peak and fall 150+ how by redline. Overall happy with intake.

Certainly be interesting to see real world on the road performance change....and the 1/2 will be a good test for that.
Their intakes are beautiful......
As a halfway house, I bought a Holley in their Xmas sale. Cheap *****, fits badly, port alignment woeful although I've partially fixed that...but will see if it helps mine rev a bit harder which is all I want really.
If it does I could maybe be tempted by a better quality one like the G1

Josh selling his g1 for a good deal. Fit was perfect. Ports lined up. Solid welds. No flex. Half mile March 3-4. If it does consistent 190s I'll be happy. Initial pull on Dyno with my street tune went 10.0 flat and made 1020 or so. I knew it was stupid rich. Just leaning it out to 11.3 picked up 100rwhp. This was only 16 degrees timing. I'm sure it would like more but wasn't going to mess with it with the misfire. I would guess with e85 and more timing without the misfire it would make a solid 1140-1150 on Cpr Dyno which is one of the lower reading ones around.

Beautiful graph!!! Glad everything worked out. Will say you have me scared, Joe just talked me into some B&B fusions like the ones he has on his car. Hope I don't have any problems.

We have folded the flap on B&B's before also, shame because they are nice but had to take them off.
Nice numbers, congrats!

Joe hasn't had issues, so maybe it is just a c6 thing.
Either way I would just spend the 30 seconds safety wiring them open for races, then enjoy them on the street.

Couldn't get an RPM signal for the tq reading? Nice results regardless.

Correct. They tried a few things but no signal. Ohh well.
Can calculate it out if really needed, but ohh well.
Maybe go back one day now that the miss is fixed, but I don't see a need to go back just to see the difference.

Big shout out to CPR for the dyno time and support. Couldn't have done it without them. Joe and his crew are awesome.
Wanted to dial in the AFR before next half mile event, and CPR was nice enough to offer up the dyno for some pulls. Semi-successful evening. Had a misfire at high RPM. Could feel it in the car, and it would pop through the pull. Probably the 2+ year old plugs that I've been running forever, but who knows. I'll swap plugs out and see what that does. Other than that the B&B mufflers don't like high HP. So they will have to come off. First 3-4 pulls they kept blowing shut. Car would get quiet around 4500 and go stupid rich from the valves blowing shut. Had to safety wire them open to make clean pulls.
Max power it made was 2341rwhp on the dyno. We think that maybe an error as it was the first pull after wiring the mufflers open, and don't think that was worth 1200rwhp, but maybe they are that restrictive. After that, just got AFR dialed in, but didn't have time or will power to mess with plugs and get the misfire fixed. All runs logged 62% ethanol so maybe more power there.
Anyways, with misfire made 1118rwhp. You can see the misfire on the graph. Power curve is sweet though. Doesn't nose dive like a lot of big cube YSi cars so that is nice.

Whilst on the topic of intakes.....this thread popped up on Tech from a few years ago. And I've also added my recent identical finding with the cheap **** Holley intake...
Any noise related changes with these G1 intakes ?

My car was loud as hell anyways, so I couldn't tell any change.

generally all sheet metal intakes will be louder than a plastic type.
the metal will resonate with the air going in and out of it, similar to opening a air compressor tank or something you will hear the air moving about inside.
