asking for experience for ls7 engine
Hi
I need your experience guys I have corvette c6 zo6 ls7 limited edition 2008 the car has those mods : headers with pipes from kooks and MSD intake and RST mcload clutch and ESC supercharged kit . the car makes on stock bottom and stock cam and heads 620 hp on low boost 5 psi only . then the issue that my block become damage inside the sleeves of number 7 piston same as the attachment.
now I need your suggestions I have bought used ls7 block with DARTON sleeves done by CBM bore size 4.135 so need good rotating kit for this block my target is to reach from 600 to 780 or 800 hp max and I will go with boost 10 psi or 14 psi max and I want use my stock cam shaft and my stock ls7 heads and maybe in the future I will be replacing them with aftermarket heads and cam . so I need to know witch rotating assembly kit is good for my application? and witch brands ?
Thanks ,

Heads/valve guides need to be addressed either way, so plan on that.
Stock crank is good, stock rods would be fine at that level with a proper piston.
Forget boost levels, as they basically don't mean anything. You will want a solid fuel system to support 700-750. I would strongly suggest meth or flex fuel for that level.

Depending on which walbro, could be a stretch. Injectors too if you decide on flex fuel.
MSD intake should be ditched IMO, throw a stock intake. That could be a reason for losing the motor, but without proper root cause analysis, won't know.

why is it cause of the intake? The path the way the air goes through?

I would use forge pistons and forged steel rods with the sleeved block just about everything else can be re used including the crank. You can sell the pistons and the titanium rods.
Instead of the boost a pump sell it and get an exterior pump with a boost referenced pressure regulator and return hose cause the in tank pressure regulator don't last long with the Walbro 450 if that's what it is, that is (If using E85)
BUT try what you have and see if is enough first imo.
A wide band is highly recommended.
