Hey guys is there a tried and true setup for adding a fuel pressure sensor to log w/ hp tuners and dash logic? Need to add one to my car and just curious what you guys are using.
Mines been on there forever with out any problems, personally I think a sensor would never hurt it. They weight basically nothing, now a fuel pressure regulator is a whole different story.
I did a glow shift off the test port, dont remember how it happened, probably overtightened it and broke the soddered joint at the Schrader/fuel rail. I had to buy a new fuel rail ($145.00 Summit) It works fine there, just dont do what i did.

Thanks
I've had one on the schrader valve for a couple years (from casper electonics)....no gauge, just wire diectly to dashlogic. changed fuel system.....now up for sale! very simple setup....let me know if interested...?
NX also makes a fuel rail adapter with 1/8" NPT ports that you can put a sensor on. That avoids having to deal with the Schrader valve on the end of the factory rails.
I don't have the pro interface. While I have everyone's attention on the subject, have any of you guys wired a sensor up through the egr pin to log through hp tuners? Is there a good write up on this anywhere? It wont be an issue for me to install and wire the sensor but some info on getting it working in hptuners would be awesome.

Good question, I was reading some stuff on a c5 thread. Didn't think about it not even having the pins. I'll check. Is there another sensor/ pin input people use on the c6's?
Yeah, def not ideal. It's nice to know fuel pressure, but the wideband reading is more important day to day IMO. If you're ending up with the AFR/lambda you want then that's what really matters. IMO anyways.
