That balancer is made for there kit. See I have a ati 8 rib balancer .an I ordered a 12%ob hub so I'm like 900$ Into my balancer. So I'd like to not have it as a paper weight. A&a kit doesnt work with stock form balacers

Sorry, I misinterpreted what you were trying to do. You must use their balancer for the new set up, which is a great kit.
I don’t think a straight 8 rib will suffice. The secondary drive is very efficient due to the shorter blower belt and increased belt wrap. I picked up 2 psi utilizing a slightly larger blower pulley with same size balancer after making the switch.
I wouldn't waste the time/money on and just sell the balancer and move on. There is a reason A&A developed the new kit.
Hell I went through 4 balancers, and 3 DD kits before I landed up with what I have. Either do it right up front or land up spending way more in the long term.
what unreal said. I ended up throwing/selling penny on $ most of my 8 rib set up when going to direct drive. When you bought the YSI should bought DD with it.
