Default Bad Cats?

I have a 2006 that has a V3 that was installed about 1k miles ago. The car has 90k on her, I haven't driven it hard since the install but upon heavy acceleration today she hesitated/stumbled and I thought I heard a slight rattling sound coming from the rear. I haven't noticed any sulfur smell/gas smell other than normal and she seems to run fine during normal driving and no CEL. Just wondering if 1. Supercharging causes the cats to go faster? and 2. in your guys opinion, is it time to replace (or remove) the cats?
I should mention that I have a 100% meth injection that sprays at 5psi for peace of mind.
Anyway sorry for the long question. Just trying to figure if I should investigate further or just assume it is the convertors going south on me.

If the cats are bad, would Billy Boat HI flow mount up to stock manifolds? or do they require headers?

Thanks guys

With a boosted car, it’s always best to get rid of the cats because they’ll fail at some point. LS7 or ZR1 cats seem to hold up ok to boost, if you want to retain cats.

Thanks. It seems like that is what is happening. Atleast starting to get clogged. I can't seem to locate any cat delete pipes for the c6. Is the BillyBoat Exhaust made to fit up to stock manifolds? I don't see any info about requiring LT's for any of there off road x pipes.

I’m not sure about their x pipes, but most aftermarket x pipes are made to work with long tubes and usually the same brand.

The Billy Boats will bolt up to stock cats/downpipes. I have their mid pipe on my 2012 Grand Sport. I wanted to get rid of the middle cats.

Doesn't sound like a cat issue to me, I would start with the tune. Bad cat would cause loss of power across the board!

Not an option for everyone but the cats are super easy to punch out if you need to go that route. I did so on my old rear mount turbo setup and it worked great. Took me like 20 minutes to punch them out once they were off the car.

CEL light should also be present, since the catalytic converters are monitored, at least the front cats are on a 4 cat system.

I don't think it is in the tune. I've ran it before with the tune and haven't noticed any of these signs. Would a CEL always get triggered if it is at the stages of getting clogged? I don't think it is bad gas ( it is possible ) but it's tuned for 91 and I toss in some MMT just to be safe. I don't recall ever having a catalytic convertor go out on any other car. Would a change in exhaust pressure be a sign of a clogged cat. My left bank has significant more pressure coming from the tailpipe than the right bank.

I would bet that would be turned off in the tune more then likely.
