Same here on MT 305/35R19 ET Street S/S Drag Radials. I ended up running 23psi and rolled out a little slow until I could hit it. You can hear the tires break loose even soft launching in the videos I posted earlier in this thread. The data log playback of the runs show the tires broke loose a bit on each shift as well so don't let your guard down during the run once you have the car "hooked up" and rolling.

I’m only an hour away. I’ll be there running Nola 1/2 mile Sunday. ‘17 Z06/7 A8 stock on Michelin SS. Probably gonna use launch control in PTM track comp 2 dry mode. Any suggestions? I’m thinking 160mph or so.

How the world does Mexico work in NOLA? Drive towards Baton Rouge? Last time I was there cops were everywhere. I guess out near the track you can find dig spots.

We have a system. Not gonna post it on here though. Towards BR is never a option.

nt05r's are a "belted" tire correct? these hoosiers feel like water baloons with lower pressures.....but I can barely get the car to spin when they are on (20 psi).....just not sure how they would be at high speeds like that

Pretty sure they’re going to suck at high speeds for longer duration. Just not made for that.

I got used to the NT05R's pretty quick and haven't noticed it since though, so they aren't that bad

I'm not honestly sure.. don't know all that much about tires. I do know the rear felt "wobbly" at first when I first got the NT05R's on, and I've been told they're not bad at all compared to something like Hoosier's, so I could def see them feeling pretty loose at high speeds. Not sure they are your safest option for 1/2 mile

What happened? Any information is appreciated.

One person has died after a single-vehicle accident during a race at the NOLA Motorsports Park on Saturday, according to an alert sent to Jefferson Parish Officials.
Multiple social media posts have identified the driver as Jeff Hagaman of North Carolina. A Statesville, N.C. auto shop shared the news and said Hagaman died during a race in his Nissan GT-R, a high-performance sports car.
Officials have not yet identified him, but confirmed the driver is from North Carolina and is 52 years old.
The driver was the lone vehicle on the track when the crash occurred. The vehicle was travelling at over 200 mph, and the vehicle went out of control before the crash, Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office spokesman Glen Boyd said Saturday afternoon.
Emergency personnel was on scene at the track located at 11075 Nicolle Boulevard in Avondale.
A 44-year-old Houston man was killed in a motorcycle accident Saturday at NOLA Motorsports Park in Avondale, officials said. The fatality is the second in the 6-year-old park's history. The other fatal crash occurred in April, 2017. In that incident, a motorcyclist from Houston was killed.
The park features two standard race tracks, three go-karting tracks and a single lane dragstrip.
A race called the WannaGoFast New Orleans 1/2 Mile Shootout was scheduled at the park this weekend.
The race is described as a chance for participants to "take their vehicle’s Top Speed down NOLA Motorsport Park’s 5300ft straightaway and race door-to-door against the competitor of their choice!! See what it’s finally like to race without the restrictions of speed limits, on what is basically your own private racetrack in New Orleans."
A call to the number listed to the organizer of the race was not answered. An outgoing message said the race is currently "closed until further notice." It was not specified why the race was closed.
People observing the race said the car flipped multiple times before it came to a stop.
