Default UPP TOP MOUNT T4's.....Finally!

Hey Guys,

I know it's been a long time in the making but we wanted to make sure we try to address all the concerns in one go with this new setup. And we are now happy to announce that we have full framed T4 capabilities on our Z06 (dry sump) twin turbo systems!

With this we have increased the cold side piping slightly, and these will be with recirculating wastegates now (this particular customer wanted external dumps). These are now available, and we should hopefully have this full build buttoned up here shortly with some nice 4 digit numbers to back it up!

CK

Is this basically the same set up as before but with some tweaks? It looks like one wastegate is on the turbine housing and one is on the manifold? Same turbos as before or what is the specs on them? Same price point around $10k?

Yes, overall it's basically the same system, except before we were limited to 62mm turbos. We now have the ability for full framed T4, so at least 76mm turbos. While we were in there we make some other tweaks for fitment, bigger IC piping, etc. And yes, the price point is still going to be ~$10K mark.

The turbos are only supported by the manifolds (same as always); with our thick sch10 piping we've never seen an issue. The intercooler in the pic is our standard option, and we have the upgraded Tredstone 9" intercooler available.

It's not really. A little time consuming, but overall very easy.

I'm assuming the turbos are still a gravity oil return? How do you guys set that up on the dry sump system...

We just dump right back into the pan same an normal, and the dry-sump scavenge pump takes it from there.

Do you tap it in above or below the windage tray?

Below, same as we would if it were a wet sump. Honestly not sure you could tap into the pan above the tray could you? I thought those windage trays set pretty high up in comparison to the pan
