Default Breaking 1000 HP

My car was dyno'd today and made 711 @ 10 PSI. My goal is to break 1K my mods and plans are the following:
416 LS3
Custom cam built for the motor and the blower
23X/24X lift is under .650
Lightly ported LS3 heads
G1Pro manifold
Callie's crank weisco pistons
Callie's H-beam rods
Ragin' racing's twin 340 fuel system
ID 1000 injectors
Novi 2200R
8 rib direct drive
3.7" pulley

I plan to run a 2.75" pulley and retune the car. At some point I'd like to add a flex fuel sensor and bigger injectors but E85 is not readily available near me. Will the 2.75" pulley alone be enough to break 1000 WHP?

So you’re asking if a pulley down only will give you a 289rwhp gain? That’s one helluva pulley! Probably gonna need the E85 and fuel system to support it.

Yep. That's what I'm asking. Is the 2.75" enough to spin this blower hard enough to reach my goal?!
The intake also has bosses welded in underneath for direct port meth injection..this is also in my longer term plans.

The actual number will depend on a few factors. Weather, altitude, what transmission, what dyno, etc, etc.

What's the difference if the dyno reads 900, or 1000 ? Either way it will be more power than you can use in most situations.

Here's the thing, when I began this build, I had to ask myself, what would I like from this car? It was then that I chose the number 1000+
Ultimately, this is what drove my purchasing decisions. If I were ok with 700HP, I would have kept the stock block, and the 2200 HD blower I previously had. Instead, I went with a built block, and a bigger blower to help me get there.

I understand that. My point is you might be in the ballpark depending on the dyno, etc. I just wouldn't worry if it's a bit less.

Gotcha. I think my question should be, is the 2.75" pulley enough to put me in the vicinity, and then will my future fuel and methanol plans put me over?

I would think you will need the pulley along with meth to get close to 1k. Auto or stick car?

I made 998 uncorrected in denver on a 2.7" 8.25" pulley combo on ignite red, 930 on e85.

Should do it with ease but there is a lot I would change.

More pump. More injector. 10 rib.

But if you get away with what you have then go for it.

Sounds like your pumps might get you there on 93, but not sure how you'll do it with any reliability without methanol. Your injectors (I don't know the math but someone probably does) won't support that power level (1000+) on anything but 93. For E85, you likely need the 1350 or 1700 size variety to have enough unless you REALLY pump up pressure, and then you'll run out of pump. 2.75" pulley on that blower should do it with the right supporting mods, but I think it will be a corner case to hit the number and you'll want to do some things to make sure you do it reliably.

Thanks for the insight. Originally, I planned to run 93 octane and direct port injection methanol. But since I have reading more about these flex fuel kits, I decided to add one. Now, my pumps are too small as well as my injectors. This is how things go as plans change slightly though.

Fuel systems upgrade for sure. I have some ID1300s coming out of my car in favor for the ID1700s soon. 10 rib is also a great option like Unreal said.

Thanks for all the responses. I'll stick with the methanol and the smaller pulley. E85 just isn't available here I'm in my area of Miami. I should be picking the car up from Redline Performance next Tuesday.

More pump. More injector. 10 rib. With a filter a little less than 1,000, without filter a little more than 1,000. With meth u might do it but then u will be meth dependent, Using a lot of meth..
