I am no expert in this matter, but I just installed a Magnuson 'Heartbeat' supercharger (basically the same as an E-Force) in my 2011 GS.
The actual install went pretty smooth and can be done without any problems in ones home garage ... The thing that is a BIG pain in the **** is pinning the harmonic balancer to the crankshaft, which needs to be done on any C6 that is getting a belt driven SC.
I gladly paid a shop to install and pin a new 'Powerbond' harmonic balancer prior to me installing the SC ... Be smart and get a good aftermarket balancer to replace the OEM balancer which is very prone to failure (which you may already know).
