Default Your Thoughts...?

Hi all! I have a C6Z with ERL427, Callies Crank & Rods, Wiseco Pistons, Mast305 Heads, MSD Intake, Currently on Nitrous. The car runs on E85 & has an RPM 4L60 Swapped. I am thinking about ditching the nitrous next season and going with some boost, what do you think of this? The car has been 9.3@149 on the current set up but I've always wanted a boosted C6. I don't want to have to pull the motor apart to set it up for boost as I would be happy with 900-1000 to the tire but not sure how I feel about the current compression (13:1) and boost. I've got mixed reviews, some day boost it some say drop compression then boost it. What would you do? Leave the nitrous? Pull the nitrous off and slap a blower with a boost cam and call it a day?

13:1 not good
MSD intake not good
Cam probably not good

If you have a happy car now, that runs fast, I would just enjoy it. The cost to convert, risk, and reward are probably not there.

Yeah I figured a new intake and cam for sure, just don't want to tear it apart to drop some boost pistons in. The car is fun and pretty fast but a ProCharged C6Z is bad ***, the want doesn't out weigh the need yet so trying to get some ideas from you guys!

For a 1000rwhp blower setup, between blower kit, direct drive, etc etc, then add cooling system, etc etc, fuel setup to support that, you are probably $13-14k into it.

Yeah which isn't terrible but that's a nice chunk of money, maybe I should direct port my intake and spray the house down!
