Default Meth LED mounting location

So I have had a car with full gauges on the piller, and a LED on that.. but Current car I am using dash logic to show boost

Need to mount a LED somewhere that I can see, and is not drilling a hole in a expensive to replace or hard to replace part...

any ideas?

I had it apart anyhow for wiring everything up with controller, etc. Carefully removed pass. vent assembly, and drilled a hole very carefully. I wasn't near the hazard switch or wiring but I had it apart to make sure as I might would be hesitant on drilling without it being removed. For the drill size, I was able to find a bit in my set that was just slightly larger than o.d. of light casing and put a dab of glue on backside - It was very snug without the glue, but just insurance there..

Sitting in the car, I can see it light up out the corner of my eye without having to actually look for it. Without being in boost and it not being lit up, it's hardly noticeable at all.

I mounted it on the plastic piece that goes around/below the instrument cluster/gauges, right in the middle. Looks factory, easy to see, out of the way otherwise. I've been happy with it there

Can get some pics this evening if you want to see it

Mine is by the cigarette lighter. I only use it when I test the system. I rely on my WB02 to know if there is a problem at WOT. My WB is connected to my Dashlogic with an alarm set.

There are many places to locate it. You just need to put it somewhere visible. You don't want it out of your field of vision.
