Default Comp turbos

Just wondering if anyone has any experience of these(oil fed not there oil less).
I ask because they are able to build me a turbo with the same dimensions of my bw 369sxe but with much larger internals.
I have a choice of there 80 88 or 76 85 both at just over $2k.

Presumably that's $2k each ?

Or are they doing a regular oil journal pair ? They only seem to list their oil-less or BB turbos on their site ? And I wouldnt be trusting the oil-less.

How much larger than a pair of 69's do you need ? That should be good for an easy 1500+ or so ?

Never really hear much about Comp, or people using them though. They've been around a while now, so no idea if that's a good or bad thing.

No I only have a single bw 369sxe. Long story short I was sold this kit saying it was a good match, absolute rubbish!
really my fault as should have done more research but first vette and being in the U.K. didn’t help.

As in a good size turbo for the ls2. Problem is the turbo chokes up as it’s too small.

A 369 could be a perfect size, or not. Without any goals it would be impossible to say.

Who said it chokes up and under what circumstances ? Have they actually tried one ?

People have used cheap old 366's as a single on some vehicles and were happy. So state goals or expectations.

There are literally hundreds of possible options for turbos though, either locally, or from the US etc, and all depending on goals or budget.

Thanks for the reply.
The 369 is currently fitted on my car and it was the tuner that said it was choking and also the backpressure was massive higher up the rpm.
I’m no expect but I imagine the 2.5” downpipe isn’t helping the situation.

As for goals im looking for 700-800rwhp but ideally have a turbo that could give more if I decided to push it in the future.
