Anyone changed a V3 into V2?

Looking to change my T Trim v3 to a v2. Vortech said they wont do it but Im sure you can. I want to go oil fed so I can overspin the blower more effectively(I have been told the self contained unit dont liek to be overspun and break the slinger). ANyone done this or know someone who does?

So Vortech themselves tells you they won't do it but you insist on getting it done? Why not just sell your head unit and buy a V2? Seems like the logical thing to do.

Yeah because selling my V3 to buy a v2 without researching if I can change the oiling on my current unit is logical.

One is self contained and one is oil fed. Not much real point in swapping one for the other but if you insist then selling the V3 and buying a V2 would be what you need to do.
