Default Fuel systems

I've started looking at fueling for my build, go to seems to be a Fore package but from there the options are still endless! My blower is going to be a Novi 2200X, the bottom end will be able to hold pretty much anything I'll be able to throw at it, heads will be LS7 Mast 285's with a stock LS7 intake. There's no E85 where I live so I'm going to be running pump 94oct and a dual nozzle alky system. So Fore has 2 and 3 pump set ups and L2 in both is said to support 1200whp. What's the advantage then of going to a triple? From there there are different control units and pumps and I'm lost! I do not want to use a BAP if possible as I find the reliability to be questionable. The plan is to see how far pump gas and meth will take me and I've got no idea what pump(s) and injectors will best to set me up for the best results.

I would put a triple pump set up in it, just in case. I also have the controller for sale if you go that way. It is brand new, i never used it cause i decided to use my Proefi128 to controller the pumps. I would do 2000's for the injectors

Definitely build it for more power. The Fore system isn't the easiest to install. You'd probably not want to do it more than once.

You never know if you decide to buy drums of E85 or other fuel that requires more flow than standard pump gas.

I run the Fore triple setup:
Largest fuel filter they offer
Their regulator
Passenger tank block off plug
LC3 to control the 3 pumps
BTR fuel rails - because of the intake
10an feed from the tank, Y'd to dual 8an to the back of the rails. 8an from the front of the rails to the regulator. 6an return to the tank.
Stainless braided hose
450lph high pressure is my primary pump
(2) 525lph pumps come on with a hobbs
Fore hat with hanger

I don't disagree with the overkill just incase but when it comes to injectors is going too big a problem? I don't want to be buying things twice!

Any competent tuner can get ID2000s to idle/drive well. You could go with ID1700s and likely be fine for a very long time.

I run basically the same setup as jay but with different pumps, rails, and ID1700X’s.

Thanks for the insights. Parts are starting to roll in at the engine builders and today I dropped the trans and diff so I can get them sent out next week. I'll be tackling everything but the engine, trans and diff builds myself at home so hopefully I get everything done in time for spring.

Thanks, I'm new to the platform but not new to cars. Everything came apart pretty easily today.

Wow! Thank you! Great info I'm in Toronto and we have 94 at the pump and it's great to see that you are making power on pump and meth..... many think you can't do that without E85. Do you have a build thread here? Or do you care to share some details on your motor?

Nice.... this makes me hopeful! I'll be LSR block, 427ci, callies ccw billet crank, callies billet i beams, custom mahle pistons, 10:1, Mast 285 heads, mild cam and 2" headers.

I think I'm going to go Fore triple, 1 450 and 2 525's and ID1700's and that should be more than enough with twin nozzel meth.

With a 450 & 2×525's I should not need to run a BAP? Are you guys running the rails in series or parallel?
