Default Ls7 Intake Manifold

Looking for some suggestions on an Ls7 intake for my C6. Not wanting to change hoods at this point unless it would be the best option. Car makes 20+ pounds of boost with an F1x.

I will be in the same boat, I've read the composite aftermarket intakes do not hold boost and are a liability and I do not want to change the hood or cut the cowl. From what I've read the factory intake is not a restriction until 1200+hp so for the time being that is my plan.

I am running a ls7 intake with a f1x. I have had no issues and making just over 1000 whp. My setup is capable of more power with some other changes but the intake is not a factor holding it back. A lot the aftermarket intakes don't hold up to boost or most people setups do not take full advantage of the intake.

One other option is there nice sheet metal intakes like Precision metal intake or Marcella intakes. Much cheaper than the billet intakes.

I am already starting to crack the stock intake but i am also spinning the F1x pretty hard. Not wanting a billet intake due to the short runners. Looking at the shearer fab surge intake right now like Unreal is running.

Looking at one of the Wilson Ls7 intakes right now, what’s everyone’s thoughts on these? Anyone used one?

Was going to mention that myself. In fact, I believe there was one for sale in the classifieds for not too long ago for just over $1K.

Not looking for something with short runners honesty. I have looked at the surge intake from shearer as well.

Holley just released the low rams for ls1/2/6. Hopefully they will have ls3 and ls7 coming soon.

James can make your manifold specific to your needs. You'll just have to hit him up. There's even a manifold posted on his IG with a runner design similar to stock within the plenum.
