Full size DeWitts clearance
Hi folks, thinking of swapping my cut down for a full size. I’m wondering will dongle clear? Any tricks like lowering cradle etc? Thanks.

Ran full size with stock A&A and ECS dongle for years. No issues.

Good to hear. So when is a cut down required?

When you want to downgrade your cooling or just brag to friends about having a smaller radiator.

So in your opinion is it worthwhile to swap out a cut down for a full size? They are currently running a sale so I figure what better time then now.

I have a full size on my hci blower Z06. Living in NY I never see coolant temps above 198 with a/c on. I have a procharger race intercooler also.

Thats impressive. I see 205 generally without a/c. Seems like a pretty significant improvement in cooling. No clearance issues? Any pics?

Up to you. I have a cut down, and it was a mistake, but spent $3k+ on other crap so it cools. If you have no issues now, then keep it. If you are running hot, or have issues, seen the full size cure those issues many times.

Looks like you’re running a bell mouth? I’m more curious if my dongle will clear.

the factory procharger one clears, I moved onto a Dallas performance I take for cruising. But I mostly just run a turbo guard.

I run a full size with Spal fan set up with A&A YSI-B, dongle with a 8 rib set up, cut down radiator is needed most of the time when you run 10rib set up from what I have seen and worked on.

Unreal what head unit were those with YSi? I’m told YSi clears because dongle doesn’t need reducer but there is clearance issues for smaller head units that use reducer as it moves it forward.

A&A was Si trim, ECS kit is Ysi. Both fit with zero issues.
