Russ,
I run that cam and it drives perfectly on the low end. I have a habit of keeping RPMs low and chugging the motor under 2500 rpm and there's no problem at all.

The cam is a nice balance between having lope at idle, decent drivabilty and power. Many of the stock bottom end records have been set with ECS cam profiles so they are well proven. I must admit I kind of laugh at the "get a custom cam" thing, what do you think this is, a GM spec? Don't get me wrong, if you have a tunnel ram or a power glide and are looking to make power in a very specific point or to match your combo then, by all means, go for it, we would too. These cams are for the 98% of the people who have our supercharger kit, headers meth/E85 and want all over proven power that sounds good and performs well.

Great cam. My wife can drive the vette to Shoprite in the morning, then I can take it to the track in the afternoon and run 10.2 - 10.4 all day.
