I'm starting to look at putting a supercharger on my C6 and doing some research and calculations. I seem to be missing something when looking at the compressor maps. I'm used to reading these maps for turbos and a supercharger should be the same thing. Using the impeller calculation from Vortech https://vortechsuperchargers.com/pag...eed-calculator And using 7.37" crank pulley and 4" supercharger pulley I get the numbers below (rounded). The problem I have is that the using a 4" pulley people don't see a peak of 15psi at 6500 rpm. From people posting that I've seen it is around 8psi. So what piece of information am I missing? Is there that much drop through the intercooler from flow restriction? Does the quick RPM change of the impeller keep it from hitting the mark on the compressor map? Obviously it depends on where you are at on the efficiency curve. This is a map for the Vortech TI compressor that A&A uses in their kit. Please help me understand.
