Default Injector size correction when adding meth

I am looking at changing from a 3.6" to a 3.4" pulley. Made 677 HP\633 TQ with meth. V-3 Si, LS3.

Pretty sure the injectors are 60#. Will they support running a 3.4"?

677 / .85 = 796 HP

I have looked at several online calculators for injector sizing and 800 HP for a supercharged application at 90% duty cycle seems to be the upper end.

Does the meth burning add any of the HP?

Thanks!!!

I have no idea how much. I run M1

It is an Alky Control, single nozzle kit. It activates at 1 or so PSI and shoots meth at 5 PSI and above.

Also make sure you’re factoring in whether you’re using a static fuel pressure like the factory setup or not. If it’s like factory then 10psi boost and 58psi fuel pressure means an effective fuel pressure or 48psi which will obviously bring flow rates down

What is your setup? What size meth nozzle? Stock pump with a BAP?

The AlkyControl kit was installed on the car when I bought it. I don't know the particulars.

"Stock pump with a BAP?" That sounds like a fuel system question. No BAP. I didn't find anything in the receipts to indicate any change or upgrade to the fuel system. It would be necessary to have larger fuel injectors to make 677 HP. I assume the fuel injectors are 60#.

I was under the mistaken impression that the fuel system was 43.5 PSI. I found out it is 60 PSI so if the injectors are 60#\hr they are ok.

BAP I meant as a Boost A Pump

And what is your entire car setup? I have a V3 SI as well and I like those numbers. Cam too? Full exhaust?

Yes, I assumed "BAP" as "Boost A Pump". I understood the BAP to be a fuel pump booster. Is that not what you are saying?

Yes, Comp Cams cam and with trunnion upgrade and springs appropriate for the cam.

Long tube 1 7/8ths headers to 3 " exhaust pipes, Borla S-Type mufflers, no Cats.

Factory original throttle body, intake manifold, and heads other than as mentioned above.

Intake and air filter are A&A from 2012.

A few weeks ago I had a few pulls done just to check the tune. He said is was ok to run it but it was rich and could be improved. 614 HP. It was like 100 degrees in the shop.

I am having the pulley changed from a 3.6 to a 3.4 and a full re-tune done next week.

Gotcha, my fault for the misunderstanding.

Just seeing your setup and trying to gauge how mine may turn out. I have a 3.8 pulley now. And want to drop down to the 3.4 and add meth. Hopefully that will put me into the 620whp range maybe. Then add my cam down the road.

For what it's worth I'm running an a&a si kit with a 3.8 pulley, meth, 1-7/8 headers, and catless mid pipe and my car put down 638 whp and 565 wtq. It's a manual car.
