I’m finally getting my fuel system installed and have a fee question. Should there be an Oring between these two fittings? Should this be a 90 or a 45. It looks like it should be a 45 and the directions say it should be? Does everything look correct?
Anything with a tapered seal won't use an oring. You can see that fitting has a taper seal, so no oring would be used.
You probably can't tell but the tapered fitting on the pump doesn't bottom out inside the check valve. I didn't look in the package with the mounting screws for the fuel pump and there was an oring the correct diameter.
Had no problems installing mine and putting it all together. No leaks either.
Are you sure the check valve is in the correct location? See the flow direction arrow? I’d move the pump up a little higher so the line is protected by the frame.
