I searched the forum but didn't find anything relevant.
I am looking to add an oil cooler to my 2010 base car. I'm willing to give up the fog lights. Is there an oil cooler and fan that fit there easily? Maybe something like in the first pic.
In searching I found what seems to be an oil adapter for LS engines that bolts right up and would give me a source and return. Is the one in the second pic the right one?
I would also add a thermostat to allow the engine to warm up.
Thanks!!!

I install this EOC in the cavity behind the left headlights. I sacrificed the cooling duct to the brakes, no big deal as I do not track the car. As you can see, there is no fan, just air flow from the bottom duct. This has worked great and I never see oil temps above 210*.even in hi-90 oat, at cruise speeds the temp in around 195-ish.

I assume this is a street car only? If it's a track car, that cooler won't be sufficient. The cooler in your pic is a transmission cooler will provide minimal cooling. Make sure the fittings are -10AN as well, and run -10AN lines. If the cooler has -6AN connections, that's too small.

I didn’t use a thermostat on mine. Since the fog lights were removed for the cooler I wired the fan up to the fog light switch. I watch my oil temp while I’m driving out of the neighborhood once they get above 150 or so I turn on the fog light switch (fan) and roll with it. Will switch the fan off if I am just cruising down the highway.

I did it on the passenger side, I think there is more room on the drivers side (no s/c cooling pump). I think my template can flip to the drivers side. I used a different cooler also.
