I'm gettjng ready to pull the trigger on an A&A kit on my stock 2013 GS M6. Goals are:
-reliability and longevity (must be reliable for long trips w wifey)
-550-600rwhp w max torque (doubt I will ever want more)
Car is used for spirited driving, cruises and long trips. Will never see a track ...
I'm leaving stock headers as I dont want emissions hassles, especially w the new communist regime moving into the White House.
My question is related to V3 si vs V2. They seem similar w differences being the self oiling? It's seems most here are going w V3? What are pros and cons to consider? Thanks...
I think for your goal just go with the V3 and call it a day.
The only issue with the V3 is availability. I have over 100 blowers on order, at this point. about 50 of these are V3s.
I got 23 last week but I sold 19 in that same timeframe, so the list only got shortened by 4. I sold 4 more over the weekend so we are back to square one.
I have V2s in stock and can build a kit in a couple of days.
The V2 takes less than an hour extra to install and then you are maintenance free after that. I also prefer the sound of the V2.

The V2 systems needs an oil line and return. So you'll need to tap the oil pan or front cover. Some guys aren't comfortable doing that. Only other bad thing might be the engine oil temps can get the blower hotter. We still have some great deals running if you need one.

These goals are easily achievable. Like Andy said about stock the V2 or V3 will get you there power and torque wise. I have a V3Ti and love it.
Regardless of whoever is in the Whitehouse, don't let that stop YOU from what YOU want! I would recommend a set of headers for you car to help it breath. With FI you really need to open the exhaust up.
Lets just say there is some crazy mandate the requires you to put cats on your vehicle, even though there wont be, putting cats on a corvette is cheap and easy.

Which runs cooler? V3 or V2? I do alotta mountain runs in the summer and cars get pretty hot. Do Blowers have heat concerns always since they are belt driven? or only when running them hard? I've had big turbo Subarus but no experience with blowers...

So engine oil temps will make V2 run hotter than V3. Makes sense...
Yeah, im sure id be leaving alot on the table if i dont do headers. Probably run much better as well. I had ARH headers on my last C6. that and a tune made a huge difference..... Was just reading your mod list. looks like a sick car. Post some pics here if you get bored and wanna show off... ; ) @VVVROOMTX
