Default A&A kit install quick question

So I’m in the process of installing the A&A kit on my base c6 2009 ls3. I bought the kit used on the forum it was on a grand sport also with a LS3. My question is the lower tensioner on the main bracket is too close to the innovators west damper. This damper is the 10% od. First pic is with the pin holding the tensioner second is with it tensioned. I’m hoping that once I install the alternator and power steering the tension will keep it from rubbing. Just asking if this is normal and these do run pretty close before I get too much further. Thanks I’m doing this install by myself in my garage.

If the GS was dry sump the balancer is different then wet sump. That could be your issue.

thanks I purchased the balancer separate from the kit specifically for my car. I’m sure that once I install the power steering and alternator it will be ok. At least I’m hoping so.

You can clock the tensioner a little bit if you are too close.

So just to close out this thread...got everything buttoned up and looks like there is plenty of room. Belt is pretty tight and still have room to adjust at the tensioner behind the sc. I like the way the belt wraps around the IW dampener. Still waiting on my prospeed dual fan shroud...
