Default Brisk plugs

Hi folks, anyone running Brisk silver plugs? Going to be turning up the boost and adding meth so shopping for something to replace my TR6. Thanks.

I looked into these and ultimately came to the conclusion along with my tuner that the BR7EF is a fine plug, readily available and cheap. Just change them out whenever you feel like it.

I’m in for your thoughts if you do roll with those fancy plugs though, definitely curious to see what you think.

I ran the BR7EF in my T/A, run the 7IX in my V, no issues with either plug. Thought I might try the Brisks out this time. Apparently silver is the best conductor.

I’ve only ever put those plugs into hellcats. I run BR7EFS in my vet. Zero issues at 850whp

I think TR6s are a great plug for a boosted LS engine, but they don't last near as long as the OEM plugs.

For long plug life and a good spark, I think a set of OEM LS9 Iridium spark plugs are as good a plug as any . . (ACDelco 41-104)

I used to use TR6 plugs in a 3.8L Turbo Buick GN engine using race gas and 20 psi of boost.

I have ran BR7EF or BR8EF in all my LS stuff and made well over 1200HP with them.
Usually a 8 heat range plug is best.

Now that’s reassuring. I’m still sbe so only going to be making ~800 so I think a 7 will be ideal for my application.

silver is definitely the best conductor but my ultimate issue was the Brisk silver plugs I’d need were something like $15-$18 each and I just don’t think that’s worth it, turner agreed as well but I’m definitely down or in for your feedback or anyone’s feed back who’s gives these Gucci plugs a try 🤷🏻‍♂️

At this point a $100 for plugs is a drop in the bucket. Tuner said they all get the job done and suggested copper replaced annually.

Oh I feel you on that! I just use that $100 on very frequent oil changes instead of plugs. Seems like your tuner came to the same conclusion as mine lol

Ran brisk silver racing plugs for years. They not only work great but last forever which negates the extra cost.
GR14S is the number equal to a NGK 7.
