Default Heat problems cx racing intercooler/Radiator setup

Hey everyone im new to the corvette world. I have owned a few ls vehicles before.

I picked up a pretty sweet procharcharged c6 recently. It has a 408 with Cali rods, weiso pistons, also afr stage 3 ported heads, holly sniper, full fuels system with a completely built 4l65.

I drove it on the highway (my first trip) about 70ish 30 miles and the oil and coolant temp rose pretty high 240ish before I checked it and I pulled over to let it cool off.

Any help would be appreciated, thanks in advance.

It has the cx racing intercooler and radiator setup. Anyone ever experienced this before? It also doesn't have an external oil cooler, was wondering of I should pick one up..

Also something I might add, the hood was off during this trip(procharger sticks up to high).
coolant was filled up.

I don't have the CX setup, but have definitely had cooling problems. What transmission does your car have? Externally trans and Oil coolers definitely help. Fabricating better shrouding helps. Did it happen with the AC on? Check your AC condenser for any blockage. Ensure your fans are coming on. Burp excess air out of the coolant system. Ensure the coolant is filled properly. Not sure what CX uses for fans, but they definitely are not all equal. Maybe get better fans. Is the thermostat working? Just a few things to check out. Hope you figure it out.

Thanks for your response!
It has a 4l65 super built, also a external tranny cooler in the back. The Car actually doesn't have a/c at all unfortunately, which really sucks. When i seen the temp that high I went to the extreme of even turning on the heat full blast. That didn't even help. I was thinking of putting a 160degree thermostat in it. Was kind of thinking that may not help either, if its just not getting enough air flow through the radiator. The Cx Racing kit has a massive intercooler that is kind of in front of the lower portion of the radiator. That kind of worries me. It also has 2 12'' fans, probably lower cfm then stock fans.

Ok yeah I would definitely look into fans and better shrouding to force more air through the radiator instead of around it.

Prospeed has awesome fans for these cars but I am not positive that will work with that radiator. May want to start there.

Mishimoto makes a pretty stout radiator that's notched for boosted Vettes. Direct OE replacement and 2.5x thicker than stock. I use it in my TT Vette that I road race for extended periods of time and don't have many issues with heat as long as I take cooldown laps every 4 or 5 minutes.
