Default ECS air filter

My air filter is in pretty bad shape and needs replacing. ECS is out of stock and has been trying to get more in. Is anyone running a different air filter that will fit?

A&A's will fit. ECS ones are (or at least, were) garbage, might as well not even run one in my opinion. Theirs you can see right through, I had tons of dirt go through mine, to the point that all of my charge tubes were covered in dirt.

A&A makes one that will fit and my charge tubes are no longer covered in dirt after switching over.. I'm pretty sure it's the C5/C6 "offset" one on their site: https://aacorvette.com/shop/product/...m-air-filters/

It took a little finagling to get it on the ECS intake dongle thing, but it did fit for me

Thanks, much appreciated. Our filters are made by Green filters, one of the leading aftermarket air filter companies out there. However we are actively seeking another company to fulfill our orders as they are constantly way behind on our PO's.

They were certainly "high flow" filters , I'll give them that at least

Does that mean you have a delay on shipping your supercharger kits? Just curious because I'm scheduled to have your 1500 kit installed at a shop in July and they are handling the parts order, which should have been placed last week.

We are so backed up on head units that the air filters are not an issue. Covid delays are at their peak now, it's certainly not just GM who can't get parts out fast enough. You should be good for a July install though, that's a good lead time, message me the shop who ordered it and I will make sure your order has been placed.

This sucks. Tried to order from A&A and got an email back saying they were out of stock with no ETA as well. Never thought an air filter would be hard to get lol.

Is there a K&N or other filter that will work or can be kludged up?

You may want to check with AFE Filters. I have been running an AFE Pro-GUARD 7 on my built 7.3 Powerstroke Diesel for years. I finally replaced it after 150k plus miles because I accidentally tore it while I had it off for cleaning. The thing is filtering a lot of air too. The truck dynoed 600 HP with a custom T4 B/W turbo setup at around 50 psi boost. They do a good job filtering as well based on my Blackstone oil analysis data.. I may see if I can find one to work with my YSi setup sometime. I have a cool idea for a custom dongle I'm going to try to fab up to allow a bit more filtered airflow. I just need to finish the house remodel project, and hopefully all the other crap I own will stop breaking so I can get back to my vette build.
