Default LS7 blower heads?

I've got a callaway SC652. Thats a Z06 with a tv2300 blower, that makes 7 pounds of boost.Car has less than 10,000 miles on it. I bought it in the spring from a collector. So far I've done arh headers and 850 injectors and a tune. It makes 635hp. At the wheels. Was gonna do heads, cam, and meth. To get over 700hp. But might just back out and do heads only to keep the cylinder pressure down for the stock bottom end. Car is super nice and I'd hate to blow it up. (It's a supersonic blue Z07) I think if I'm gonna go more power it's in need of a forged bottom end or sell it and buy a Zr1.

So my question is...which heads to go with, my engine builder switched from Frankenstein to LME. Any thoughts? Ill do heads, lifters, ATI balancer and a new tune.

Thanks in advance, mark

In my opinion, you’ll get a lot more power from a cam swap, than from a head swap….

Pull the heads, check to ensure the valve guides are good. Give it a valve job and throw them back on.

A cam will really wake up that combo.

Best of success with your goals.

I went with AHP heads for my blower setup! Was a little over $5k all in for their every option setup using my heads as a core. I picked up over 120whp with the heads/cam and slight boost pressure increase. I'm on stock bottom end other than 10:1 forged pistons.

Thanks, that's good info. My engine builder/ tuner said I can get to 700 wheel safely with the stock bottom end. Or make it to 800 if I go forged pistons and new rods & dropping the compression to 10:1 but that's another $6000 ontop of my current plans.

OP we do alot of heads for blown LS7s.
In fact our CNC porting program works great with this sort of setup.

There are a few guys running well into the 1000+rwhp range running our heads and a blowers/supercharger!

You could either go with our world famous Package 4 reworked GM castings or step up to our Archangel heads which are based on the Brodix casting.

Feel free to shoot me an email if you have any questions
