I need some input on installing the LNC-2000 controller from Lingenfelter.
I have majority of the setup done. Connected the wiring harness as displayed in the LF guide notes.
The problem I ran into is when it comes to getting the 12 bolts of power to the unit. I want to do this by using my clutch switch.
When referencing the LF guide, I saw that the clutch switch they used for example isn’t the same as what I have in my car (2012 Grand Sport). The wires that I have available on my clutch switch is different from the one LF used in their installation guide.
I believe there’s only 2 different styles of clutch switches for these cars. Any idea on what wires I should connect to get my 12 volts to the LNC-2000 unit would be greatly appreciated.
That's exactly what I used. You have to play with the settings on the tcap to get the timing right. Be careful and take your time. I thought I had mine right and when I looked at the log at the track it was hitting the tires at like 5,500 rpm with the 2 step set on 3,000. A few clicks on the ctap and it would hit the tires at same rpm the 2 step was set at. Do you have a clutch slipper?
I don’t have a clutch clipper currently. LF says that cable will also work with the LNC-2000 controller. Do you think I still need the CTAP unit?

I myself would do the ctap also. Only way you can control when in the pedal travel it comes off of the 2 step. Any delay from releasing the 2 step and clutch grabbing will raise the rpm you actually leave at. Not sure I'd try leaving off a 2 step without a clutch slipper or a lot of seat time. You'll end up breaking a lot of parts.
I do have some seat time with the car. However, what clutch slipper do you recommend or currently use yourself?
