I have a Eforce blower, i would like to upgrade to 8 rib. I see many options for 8 rib pulleys for the power steering and alternator out there. Has anyone tried some of those random LS pulleys? Is a decoupler pulley important enough to stick with that type, or just use a solid pulley?
Now if you have either a Z06 or a GS with manual transmission, you would need their kit for the LS7 cars (dry sump cars).
was trying to avoid a 1000 plus price tag. I found pulleys for less then 500 with a powerbond balancer. Decoupler is the stock alternator pulley...its a clutch type pulley.

I don't think the alternator is a clutch type. It spins all the time otherwise it would not provide power and would drain the battery. Now the AC compressor is a clutch type pulley but it is also on its own separate belt so doesn't need to be upgraded.
