Default Had LS7 intake and TB ported

My car is at limit of boost on current 6 rib setup...Just removed V3SI and installed Paxton Novi 1500 (3.4 pulley). 427 forged (not LS7 block) LS7 heads, now ported intake/TB stock cam, A&A kit...getting bug fuel system now and removing alky kit and boost a pump...retuning on straight e85 (added flex fuel sensor also). Had local professional port TB and manifold....I know it won't add a ton of power on a boosted car BUT was very cheap and no shipping. Added a lightweight drag pack also...Just trying to get it closer to an 8 second run....not add a million hp....

Next time you have your manifold off, look at the rectangular ports. I had my older style Fast intake ported and the inner walls look to be about the same thickness as yours. My ports were collapsing in, keep in mind that almost all of the time the ports are under vacuum. I changed to an unported a FAST LSXR 102 and a Nick Williams 103mm TB. I am pleased with this combo on my RHS 427 D1X 1004 Rwhp.

Will do...but can't imagine the factory manifold with minor hand porting would cause enough weakness to hurt any structural integrity??
