LY6 vs L96
Currently I am exploring options for a turbo build and am looking to ditch the aluminum LS3 block in favour of an iron. I’m shooting for somewhere between 1000-1200hp so I am leaning towards a 6.0L with a new rotating assembly, heads, etc…
Ive seen quite a few LY6 builds on here advertised as essentially plug and play due to it being a Gen 4 motor but I do have a L96 available in my area for quite a bit cheaper. Has anyone done the L96 swap before? What would be the main differences between swapping a L96 in compared to a LY6?
