Default LS2 LSA compatibility questions (non corvette)

Thought I'd ask here bc many of you really know your ****! I have a ls2 takeout in my 67 camaro, engine was built and spec'd by tony mamo, and I purchased it from another forum member.
As far as I can tell I have two option for top end, replace the stage 2 ported 243's with lsa or ls3 heads, would also need new headers, OR, use ICT Billet square to cathedral adapters to retain my current heads and headers. Much more cost effective route.
As for the accessory drive, do I need all new accessory drive? I have read alignment is different bt LS and LSA engines. I do not have hood or radiator clearance issues.
This engine set up threw down 480 rwhp in an auto, and my goal is 550-600 tops. As for other options, not interested in turbo, even though you get twice the boost for half the cost, and a with centrifugal I would have to re do quite a bit of things.
Any input would be very much appreciated!!

Yes, you will need the LSA accessory drive or go through someone like Boost District to get a conversion kit for the accessory drive you have on the car now.

Adapters will be the easiest route as far as the heads go.

Speaking from personal experience, IMO DO NOT USE cathedral to square port adapters.

They are a massive PITA to tune and will never be right. It might work ok at WOT but for actual drivability they're nothing but a compromise. Once I switched to 823/821 heads all the tuning problems went away.

Sure, there will be tons of people that say it can be made to work. I agree, but it will not work well.

I found that BD, and others mill the lsa snout to work with corvette accessory drive after making this post. Seems like the best route to go for that regard.

Ill be honest, this is the first I've read, or been informed, that they do not work well. Thanks for the input. Def a question for the tuner. My whole premise for adapters is my heads are ported by mamo, so flow well for a 243, and the ceramic coated headers I have specific to my build that were around $1500. New heads and headers or give the adapter a shot is the dilemma there.

I have looked at going centrifugal, problem there is fitment with AC. Would have to purchase lower AC mount, notch frame for clearance, and re route everything already done. Would look better with a lower mount, but with everything already painted, it wouldn't be small task.
