Default Small nitrous shot plus blower

I’m around 800whp currently on 11-12psi Ti, heads cam. I still have my nitrous kit on the car from pre blower days. I have had the solenoids capped off to keep clean. My intake air temps have been great for drag racing or in town, even half mile stuff. But, curiosity has me, what if I ran a dry shot pre blower…like inject it just behind the filter. Small jet…like 35hp. I’ve seen mixed reviews on if it actually will get the charge temps down that way or not. I use pump e85 and I’d rail feed it if it was a wet shot but I don’t fancy the idea of fuel through the blower and fmic. Or is this just a bad idea and I should spray a 50-75 shot wet after the MAF card and let that send it. It’s stil sbe so I’m not about that 150shot and send it.
I still have my plate for it on the shelf…I haven’t seen anyone running boost through a plate so I feared it may be a boost leak to chase if I did.
or screw all this, ounces make pounds, take nitrous off and drop a pulley. lol

Nitrous would lower the air temp before the air gets compressed by the supercharger which would result in lowering IATS. It would likely pick up some psi as well. If the IATS have been great then it is really not needed. If your looking to lower IAT's a cheaper method would be to toss a meth kit on the car. Meth last longer and is much cheaper then filling a nitrous bottle. Also not need to watch bottle pressure. If your looking for more power toss a 35hp shot on between the IC and TB. It will do a better cooling job because it wont be super heated by the supercharger.

no meth. but I knew you were going to say that. I'll be curious to see south TX IAT at back end of 1/2 in Hondo. Up in IN with 60s outside is with within 10deg of ambient at back end while on throttle. driving in the heat of summer it was always 5-10 of ambient under boost. I'm just under thresh hold rpm of blower so it's happy. Heads are super efficient...so 800 wheel-ish on 11-12 psi. v3Ti. I'm going to leave the nitrous kit on until after Hondo to see how it fares. If IAT are fine, I'll probably pull it off....haven't used it at all since blower install.

I hear what your saying. I have run meth on quite a few cars even ones running E85. Texas heat ain't no joke.

I run a 75 shot on mine with 15 lbs of boost, YSI blower. I also run meth to cool things down. I have run several Texas Mile events at 220 mph.
