Happy December, and Happy Holidays to all my current and future customers. Thank you again for all the referals and business last month, and in the past year for that fact.
I have somewhat of an announcement to make about PartsTaxi.com and the service I can offer you. Up until this week, I was overseeing multiple departments within the dealership, which honestly meant that there were times that this venture didn't have my full attention which it deserves. After reviewing sales numbers, financial statements and all that fun numbers guy stuff, I have given up the other departments I was overseeing to be able to fully concentrate on PartsTaxi.com and my wholesale parts customers. Running 4 departments was getting to be too much of a headache, getting in the way of what I truely enjoy doing and effecting my relationships outside of work. This was fully at my choice, with the blessing and encouragement of the Owner of this dealership. Our agreement is that I will help train the new Fixed Operations Manager, and be available to bail him out whenever needed. I will not report to him, still soley to the owner.
The family that owns this company has owned 18 dealerships, currently there are 3, and combined we have over $7.1 mil in parts inventory. Their theory as well as my theory is, making $.01 is better then nothing at all, especially if you can get future business from the transaction. I guess that was my real long winded version of saying, I'm here for you guys, anytime. The majority thought our service was good prior to this, watch what we can do know
