A few questions
Questions:
I have done my own brake job, but never removed a caliper from the brake line. Does it take a line wrench or other special tool?
Is it as simple as unscrewing the line from old caliper and screwing it back in to new caliper?
Would this be the right time to change out brake lines to SS braided or is that a can of worms? I NEVER get a full day without taking care of the kids, so I only have time to do this if its a 2 to 4 hour deal.
Also, why would some people rather have their own calipers coated instead of doing a swap? Am I missing something? Seems like there is no benefit to being without calipers while waiting on having yours coated. Isn't the quality the same?
Thanks for educating me.
Oh, I have the factory Z51 option so I would also be interested in what the Z51 availability is.
Thanks,
Dale

Some customers want ONLY their calipers BUT we only send out very nice units so there is really NO BENEFIT in waiting to have yours done. The caliper you receive back from us will be BETTER than what you give to us because we rebuild the caliper with ALL BRAND NEW SEALS AND BOOTS.
I know how it is with kids... I have 2 young ones on my own. 4 hours should be enough time to get all your calipers installed and bleed the brakes. I would definitely change out the brake lines and it would also be a good idea to do the brake pads at the same time since you have everything apart.
We should have a couple of Z51 sets available very soon.

Doing brakes is not too hard and really do not require any special tools.

I have a 2010 GS Corvette which have silver C6 Zo6 calipers. Please put me on the list when you are able to supply replacements in red.

Send me an Papypal invoice to do my 2005 Z51 calipers and brackets with Red. $240 for all...correct?
I will Paypal the core charge as well and get the money back after I sent you my OEM calipers which are in perfect condiiton.
Please make sure they are Z51, include all brackets powdercoated and the cylinders are rebuilt so I can simply install them with no hassles!
What is my wait time and will they be perfect and ready to bolt on?
I prefer the reddish on the Zo6 and Ferarris. No metallic flake red finish for me. I want as close to ZO6 Red as possible! White or silver lettering...what ever is on the ZO6.
Thanks!
Paypal Invoice info: rob4092@***.net
How long will it take to receive them?
Thanks!
BTW...do you do this for a 2000 Acura NSX? If so, how much?

The costs for the Vette is as follows
Caliper Rebuild/ Powder Coat-$260
Core Charge-$300
Shipping-$50
The color will be very close to Victory Red which is like the Z06 and Ferarris. All you will have to do is bolt them on when we send them to you. Would you also like upgraded Hawk HPS Pads or Stoptech lines also? Now is the perfect time to upgrade the pads and lines if you are doing the calipers.
Also, we do the NSX also but they are alot more expensive because the parts to rebuild the calipers are over $200. We just finished 2 sets and they look great. Labor is also more to rebuild them.. they're alot more complicated than the vette calipers.

Do you have the C6 Z06 caliper's in stock? I will wait till you find the stencil.
