Whats the difference between the xtremes and the sports? Sound difference or just tip size?
Are these also workable for both manual and autos.. on the corsa site it has you pick a specific transmission.
I just checked with Corsa and they stated the x pipe and axle back work on both manual and auto. The reason they don't list auto on the site is because it drones slightly (auto only). Absolutely no drone on manual cars. Corsa's claim to fame is no drone, so they don't push the Xtreme kit for auto cars.
Xtreme is just slightly louder than the sports. I had this kit installed on my bone stock C6 and it was perfect sound wise. Quite inside the car at cruise but throaty on throttle and loud behind the car.
To sweeten this, if anyone is looking for the sports, I would trade you for the extremes if you buy them. Sports are to quiet for my wife. I have the 09+ version, but the cans are the same, the over axle pipes are the only difference.
